Brian Venua is an award-winning photographer from Dillingham, Alaska and is the son of Filipino immigrants. Travelling back and forth between Alaska and the Philippines exposed him to various landscapes from tundra, rivers, creeks, and mountains at home to jungles, archipelagos and sandy beaches while visiting family. His work has been featured by PBS NewsHour, KTUU Evening News, Alaska Public Media, the Bristol Bay times, and KDLG News.
